Former Manchester United player Edwin van der Sar has come out of retirement to play for Dutch amateur team VV Noordwijk for one match.
Van der Sar had amassed 130 international caps for the Netherlands in a successful career, before formally retiring in 2011. But the goalkeeping great - now 45 years old - answered an SOS from his first senior club after their regular goalkeeper got injured.
And he proved that class is permanent after he saved an early penalty - much to the delight of the crowd. The fourth-tier match against Jodan Boys eventually ended 1-1.

"We are thrilled that Edwin wants to help," Noordwijk director Peter Vink told Voetbal in de Bollenstreek before the game.
It is expected that van der Sar will not play for the club again, which is sure to disappoint some fans.
